Hawaiian Wedding Cake

2 c.  flour
2 c.  sugar
2 tsp.  baking soda
2  eggs
1 c.  coconut
1 c.  chopped walnuts
20 oz.  can crushed pineaple with the juice
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Grease 13x9x2inch pan.

Mix all ingredients together.  Pour in greased pan and bake for 45 minutes. 

*Note*  do not flour pan. 

*this cake is good with a light frosting, or a cream cheese frosting. *

Peanut Butter Pie
8 oz.  cream cheese
1/2 c.  peanut butter
1/4 c.  half and half
1 c.  10x sugar
8 oz.  cool whip
9"  gram craker crust
Whip cream cheese, peanut butter and half and half together.  Fold in sugar and cool whip.  Pour into a 9" gram cracker crust and refrigerate for one hour.

*this pie is very sweet and rich.*

Apple Dumplings
1 1/2 c.  flour
1/2 c.  crisco
dash of salt
4-6 T.  cold water
cored apples  (not sure how many)
Syrup  (see below)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Combine flour, salt and crisco until crumbly.  Sprinkle with water while mixing lightly with a fork.  Then roll out to 1/4 inch thick.  Cut into squares  (large enough to hold apple.)  Place cored apple in center and pinch up corners.  Place in pan, cover with syrup and bake 35 minutes.
Syrup
1 c.  sugar
1/2 tsp.  salt
1 T.  butter
1 T.  flour
1 c.  boiling water
Mix all ingredients together and pour over dumplings.
