If I had to pick one word to describe Mariam it would be sarcastic, hence the name of this site. She is very sarcastic, especially towards the likes of easily angered team member, Dunga. Her sarcasm can be taken as humor or insensitiveness. Don't be fooled by her demeanor. Mariam IS capable of caring. She can be a bit flirtatious towards those she deems worthy. She seems to have a thing for Max from the Bladebreakers. It was proven in the episodes "Friends and Enemies" and "Beybattle at the Bit Beast Corral." (See the Mariam/Max page for more details.) Mariam is part of a team called the Saint Shields. Their mission, in short, is to capture and seal the four legendary bit beasts: Dragoon, Dranzer, Driger, and Draciel. Mariam's bit beast is a shark type named Sharkrash. Her style of fighting is catching her opponent offguard and then attacking, catching them by surprise. She has a brother named Joseph, whom which just happens to also be part of the Saint Shields. They often team up in bey battles. |
