How They Met

Sarah met Ricardo during her first week in Utah State University. She lived in the Valley View dorm and he worked at the cafeteria and at a coffee shop called The Depot.
That week he delivered her rental fridge but nothing would come out of that encounter. The following weeks they would bump into each other either at lunch time or karaoke nights at the Depot. But it took nearly two months for them to finally be introduced to each other.
It was at a fraternity party, nearly two months later, that they got finally introduced. They hit it off from the start, but Sarah was not alone that night, so they had to wait for another opportunity to see each other.
Their first date took place on November 11, 2000. They went bowling with some friends (Jaime Fisher and Matt Haight) and later that day they drove to Logan Canyon for pictures of the snowfall. Back to Logan they spent the rest of afternoon and evening together.
That same night was a full moon and according to Utah State tradition, you can only become a "True Aggie" if, at midnight on homecoming or under a full moon, you get kissed by a True Aggie (in this case, Ricardo) on a pedastal held up by four block "A's" that sits in the oldest part of campus.
They decided to check it out and, among many other couples, they had their first kiss.
Since then they have been together through each other's ups and downs in what has been an amazing rollercoaster ride.
