Stores open between 9 and 10 AM. They close in the afternoon, for a couple of hours as well, at around 12 PM until around 4 PM. In the evening, stores close around 6 PM.

San Remo is also known for it's nightlife. Especially on Saturday nights, people have coffee or drinks at bars. They sit outside talking, and listening to a music band. The band usually includes someone who plays the cello and a violinist. A couple of the major streets are closed off in sections because of this. Many people visit San Remo because of the music festivals, which are held too.
