| *Chapter 5* The next day I had to start packing because I was leaving for OVW in 3 days. I hated packing so I knew it would take forever. Brian had gone back home after breakfast and everything seemed to be good between us. We had agreed that we would be friends while I was gone and if we wanted to get back into a relationship after he finished school then the option was always there. But we also said we could date other people if someone came along we were interested in. And I was OK with that, I figured Brian wouldn't want to date much anyway, so I had nothing to worry about. Me on the other hand.... well let's just say with me around all those wrestlers I wasn't so sure Brian felt safe about me dating. But he agreed to it. As I continued packing the phone rang. Startled, I picked it up. "Hello?" "Jessica? This is Shane McMahon!" "Whoa! Hi! You're probly the last person I expected to hear from!" He laughed. "Well I just wanted to make sure you'd be ready by Thursday. I thought I'd show you around OVW so you know the place a bit before you start on Saturday. How does that sound?" "That would be awesome Shane! And that's so nice of you!" "Well it's the least I can do! I'm so proud to have you working with us!" "Awwww! Thank you Shane!" "So I've got a limo arranged to pick you up from the airport, and that will take you to OVW where I'll be waiting." "Wow that sounds great! Thanks again!" "Yeah! I'll see you on Thursday! Bye!" "Bye Shane!" It was still so surreal to be receiving phone calls from Shane McMahon! And I was gonna see him again on Thursday! This day was turning out so much better than I thought it would! I continued packing in anticipation for Thursday. I couldn't wait to see OVW and meet all of the people! |
