| A religion is never just a religion. There is perhaps no such thing as a religion that is only a religion. Only a path to God and nothing more. All of the major religions of the world are composed of the rich culture in which they were born and continue to thrive. You should be aware that in order to fully understand a religion, you must learn about the people, culture, and civilization which practices it. You could not study Islam without studying the history of the Arabic people, nor could you study Christianity without glancing at the culture of Europe. Hinduism would not be complete without its mother land of India, and Judaism could never be Judaism without Israel. There are perhaps uncountable religions of the world. Many people still have their own indigenous and obscure religious pracices, while other religions are perhaps emerging. We have compiled a list of many of the known and major world religions.
