Islam
Islam is one of the world's younger faiths, but by no means is it inferior. Islam developed as a spiritual oasis in the Arabian Desert in Saudi Arabia. Its founder was a prophet named Muhammad. Regardless of its youth, Islam is the second largest religion in the world. It is practiced in every country in the Middle East and continues to grow all over the world. The holy book of Islam is called the "Qu'ran" or "Koran." Islams history, people, and traditions have indeed made it an oasis of culture and learning in the Middle East.
