| Sikhism |
| Sikhism is the world's youngest major religion. It has its roots in both Hinduism and Islam and was founded by a Guru named Nanak and by his nine succesors. Sikhism is practiced chiefly in India. Sikhism's holy text and ultimate authority is called the "Guru Granth." Although it is not as large as Hinduism and Islam, Sikhism is a very traditional, cultural, and family oriented faith. |
