Submission Guidelines

Beloved of the Goddess
Beloved of the Goddess, by Stephanie Pui-Mun Law
We welcome both written and art submissions for this site. Please note that copyright of works submitted to this site remains with their creators, so you (the creator) are still free to use them again elsewhere, if you wish. Please direct questions about potential submissions (both illustrated and written) and send submissions to [email protected]. Please note that we reserve the right to edit, alter or refuse all submissions.

Written Submissions

We welcome articles on any aspect of Ars Magica, but we particularly welcome articles exploring new and unorthodox approaches to the game. That said, if you are unsure about whether or not to submit an article you have just written, the answer is probably that you should.

Articles should be free from obscenity or inflammatory language and comments.

All submissions must be made electronically, following these guidelines as closely as possible.

All submissions should be made as MSWord documents (DOC) or in rich text format (RTF). If that is not possible, ASCII is acceptable.

All submissions should be sent as email attachments, not as the body of an email.

Art Submissions

We welcome any artwork for the site, although we particularly welcome pieces to illustrate existing articles. Please have a look around the site and see if any articles inspire you.

Please do not submit art that is obscene or inflammatory. Tasteful naked faeries are fine, but art that might be considered degrading, insulting or unnecessarily lewd is not.

Biographies and Sancta

If you are submitting a contribution to this site for the first time, we would ask that you also include a brief biography (max. 125 words) for inclusion in our Contributors page.

As should be apparent from our Main Page, the material on this site is kept in sancta. Most contributions submitted to this site will be kept in the Sanctum Miscellaneorum (the major exception is artwork submitted to illustrate existing articles). However, we encourage each contributor to design their own sanctum, choosing a suitable pseudonym to go along with it. Examples may be found here and here. If you wish to join in the fun, please mail us a sanctum description and pseudonym. We are also happy to consider more ambitious ways of personalising sancta from the web-design-savvy. Again, please mail us.
