Quick Jinn Non-Player Characters
On page 83 of Blood and Sand, I made the comment that "jinn are first and foremost individuals." While I stick by that claim, it is sometimes useful for a storyguide to be able to pick up a "stock" set of statistics for a monster or non-player character, and this applies as equally to jinn as it does to other such characters. In this article I present a set of statistics for "generic" jinn, along with statistics for marids, 'ifrits, shaytans and ghuls. Rather than list 25 sets of statistics, I have instead listed profiles for the five orders of "generic" jinn (described on page 83 of Blood and Sand), with supplementary information to indicate how these statistics might be different if they are created for jinn of the four tribes described in the book. Naturally, storyguides should feel free to tweak these to suit their sagas. I remind readers that some of the names of the orders of jinn are the same as the names of some of the tribes.
