She died in prison because of her husbands business of importing dark magical artifacts. He raised her as a lich from the dead and had her chained in his basement laboratory. She ate part of her husbands corpse and soul transfered into Desmona before the party could kill her. She made random appearances through her daughter.

Nyphystra was born again through her child Desmona. How many daughters can say they gave birth to thier mother? Nyphystra grew very quickly and traveled back to the Dark Mages to tell them of all that she had been through. Nyphystra has been through the veil of death.
