The Purpose of Sam Spady Week is to help benefit the Sam Spady Foundation.  The Sigma Pi Colony of Jacksonville State will be dedicating an entire week to the memory of a wonderful young lady who died tragically on September 5, 2004, of alcohol abuse.  Samantha was a very talented artist who touched the lives of so many while on earth, and hopefully with your support, many more while in Heaven.  She was a devoted friend to the Colorado State Chapter of Sigma Pi and the fraternity as a whole.

The Sam Spady Foundation and Sigma Pi hope to use thi week as a way to help further the education of young people, and old alike, when dealing with Alcohol Awareness.

    8-Ball Tournament     $5     5pm

          $8 if someone wants to sign up for both
     Ping-Pong Tournament  $5     6pm
WEDNESDAY MARCH 9th
     Poker Tournament     $20 buy in.  Starts at 430pm.  Top 5-10 will receive prizes.*

     4-on-4 Basketball Tournament
          $20 per team     5pm

     Benefit Concert

     5k Run
          $10 per person    7am-8am

*Because money is not allowed to exchange hands on campus, the winning students will be escorted to Bibb Graves where the amount won will be placed on your student account.  The amount of winners and the amount won all depends on how successful the poker tournament is.
**The US Army has contacted me about the rock wall.  As of right now, it is being repaired and the local officials are not sure if it will be ready in time to be used for Sam Spady Week.
