How do I find a Topic?

• A project usually takes several weeks to complete. Choose a topic related to something you are interested in: a hobby, sport, animal, plant etc.
• Visit the library.
• Talk to others  - your teacher, parents, friends, neighbours.
• Visit science centers - Don't forget the zoo, aquarium, planetarium, Vet.
• Read scientific magazines, National Geographic etc.
• Try to avoid topics which have been overdone in the past if possible, e.g. volcanoes, crystals.
