| What happened to these guys? During the Arise, and dare I say Chaos A.D. days, I probably missed a dozen chances to catch these guys live. Any footage I'd see from those days made me wish I lived in Brazil so I could see them tear it up live. Unfortunately, sometime between then and now they learned how to bore an audience stiff. They didn't play any classics (God forbid they entertain us with a little Beneath the Remains), and their newer stuff had me ordering coffee. I guess the lesson here is don't expect too much from a band that you used to love but haven't been following much lately. I mean, Andreas is a sick guitarist, but there's enough mid-paced crap out there these days. |
