Until roughly September 1999 when we called it quits, I played bass in a band called Indignant with Rob 'Dumdum' on guitar and Mark 'Denana' on drums. We were pretty friggin heavy. We had always been heavily influenced by Meshuggah, and we always tried to throw in weird time signature stuff, which was pretty easy to do cuz Rob rarely made up a riff in 4/4 time. I don't think he really did it on purpose, I think he's just missing that part of his brain that makes a 4 beat sound comfortable.
We jammed for somewhere between a year and a half and two years, I think. We only played one show that whole time, some lame battle of the bands thing (we were one of like 21 bands or something stupid). For the show we had Robin Milley (Neuraxis) come in on 2nd guitar and Chris Alsop did the vocals. Here are some pics from that show, click on these little pics to get big pics. Everybody knows that.
