What is the best thing about being an actor?
                 The best thing would probably be getting to tell stories and to be
                 someone else.

What does the average day for Sam Atwell contain?
                  Usually meeting with my agent, organising contracts for plays
                  or shows and acting.

Do you draw on your own past experiences to help you act?
                  Definitely, I don't have same experiences as the characters,
                  but you draw from similar experiences you have had in your life.

Are there any parts that you would refuse to play?
                  It depends on the writing and the actual part and project,
                  whether I feel I can learn from playing the part or not.

What happens if you do not feel very well and you are supposed to be acting?
                 You have to go in and pray that you get a good make-up artist
                 that can make you look good. The only way that you don't have
                 to go to work is when you are in hospital.

In the future, do you see yourself acting or doing the behind the scenes directing?
                  I would like to do more directing and producing, but I think I would
                  prefer to be acting.

In Home and Away, what has been the hardest scene to play so far?
                  When Kane was seen to be assulting Dani, that was hard.

What were the rest of the cast like on Home and Away?
                   They were lovely, all very hard working.

In Kane's last scene, where he is driving away from Kirsty, were you made to look like you were crying, or were they actual tears?
                    They were actual tears, I just thought about sad things, that I was
                     leaving the show and that it was a very noble thing for Kane to do
                     for Kirsty.

Will Kane be returning to the screens?
                     I am not legally allowed to confirm whether or not Kane will return to
                     Home and Away.
