| Ace Ventura 2: When Nature Calls (12) America A truely awful film that is filled with poor, unhumorous jokes and strings of incomprehensible jabbering. This film could only be more annoying and truely irritating if Davina McCall had been cast as Ace Ventura. This is about enjoyable to watch as it to rub wet clods of pig faeces into your own face. I mean, an hour and a half film about an Albino Bat and it's magical cack! 1 / 10 (And that's being generous!) |
| Das Boot (12) Gernamy Das Boot is the graphic and gripping tale that follows one of the infamous German U-Boats known as 'The Grey Wolves' The crew are portrayed in a desperate life or death struggle, coping with endless hours of claustrophobic boredom which quickly makes way for fear when confronting the enemy. This is the only submarine film that I actually enjoyed. But on the down side, this film is almost three and a half hours long, so obviously too much for some people. 9 / 10 A must see for any fan of war films. Click Here For The Official Website |

| Amelie (15) France The story is about a girl that helps others to find love and happiness - which she sets out to do in her own unique and magical way. When Amelie falls in love herself she discovers that making neat solutions is not as easy as it seems. Not traditionally the type of film that I would watch, but after watching it I was happy and actually somewhat amused. | Akira (15) Japan What can I say except "It's easily the greatest Manga film ever created. I love every aspect of this film, the music, the characters and the story. The film follows the a fifteen year old motorbike punk called Kaneda who is on a quest to find his friend Tetsuo who is being used as a human Guinea pig by the Neo-Tokyo government. But the tests on tetsuo have made him super-human, this sends him over the edge on a quest to find the only human with more power than him; Akira. 10 / 10 An absolute must see for any Manga fans.
