Salsa Classes with Sebastian
Updated: May 14th, 2007
BRIEF COURSE DESCRIPTIONS:
In the beginner courses you will learn all the foundational steps and techniques that you will need for higher levels. At each level, a specific skill set is taught. Thus, there is always opportunity to learn new material, so you can continue to grow in this dance form.
Our goal is to help you develop your skills within each level, and provide the tools that will ensure your progress towards the more advanced levels, while at the same time offering a fun and safe learning environment!

Although I primarily teach beginner and intermediate level salsa lessons, I also teach other types of latin dances (i.e. merengue, beginner cha cha, and beginner bachata). Within each course for every level, I include a Bachata, Merengue, and/or Cha Cha class. The reason for this is that the different latin dances are actually very similar in many ways (patterns, body movement), despite some obvious differences (i.e. the music). Learning the four popular club styles of latin dances is essential for the all-round dancer. We love variety -- it keeps things interesting!!
In general, my salsa courses each consist of one class per week and span four to twelve consecutive weeks, depending on the level. The beginner level 1 course is four classes, while beginner level 2 & level 3 are eight classes. All Intermediate levels (1&2&3&4) officially run for twelve weeks, but any course can be taken as monthly blocks (...or four week segments). Sign up for as many classes as you'd like to take -- drop-in once or twice, or take the full course load.
If attending our classes is not possible, due to work/school conflicts, please try out our private sessions at your convenience. Sebastian's schedule continuously changes, so please call or email to set up an appointment.
Below are brief descriptions of the salsa courses I teach. For fees and other information, click here.
