| THERE ARE MANY DOGS, PUPPIES, CATS,AND KITTIES WHO ARE IN NEED OF GOOD LOVING HOMES. Adopting an animal is a long-term commitment that should not be made hastily, so take your time in making the decision to adopt. Carefully consider the time, money and energy it takes to care and love a fur child. Remember also that pets have different personalities and you should pick one that fits your lifestyle. Bigger dogs need more excerise than small dogs, and cats and kitties are wounderful pets for people who live busy lives. |
| The easiest way to set up a two-dog household is to bring both dogs home at the same time. If it's too late for that, know that the transition will be smoother if the second dog is a couple of years younger or older than the first. Although there are plenty of exceptions, statistics show that neutered dogs of the opposite sexes and different ages get along best. |
