Events
The purpose of these events is to build bridges between the communities, by introducing Singles from different communities to each other. Zariya currently has two types of events
1. Zariya Weekend Retreats - where the goal is to invite those people who have previous met through our past events, to spend the weekend with us at some resort or out-doors activity. Our destinations include: [Click here]
- Cape May (in May 2004)
- Day Cruise on the Hudson (on June 19th 2004)
- The Grand Canyon (in June 2004)
- Skiing in Vermont (on February 25th 2005)
- Whitewater rafting & Camping (June 4th 2005)
- Sufi Oud & Swami Table (August 6th 2005)
- 3 day Cruise to Alaska (TBA)
- 3 day Tour of the Volcanic Islands of Hawaii (TBA)
2. SPINTRO - Short for SPeed INTROduction, where the goal is to first introduce a group of 40-50 Singles to each other for 5 minutes, which is then followed through by more detailed conversations between people who have a mutal interest in talking to each other further.
