Type's Of Fusion's

Fusion Dance- The fusion dance is 1 of the 2 kinds of fusion that any being with ki can perform. This fusion can only be done if the following guidelines are met: both beings must have an equal power, must be about the same height, and must do the fusion dance correctly. If any of these aren't met, the result will be a deformed fusion. Gogeta, Gotenks, and Krikolo, are the names of the fusions ever done in DBZ-GT. For Gogeta, Goku is the dominant being in the fusion while Vegeta provides extra power, for Gotenks, Goten is the dominant being while Trunks provides extra power, and for Krikolo, Krillan is the dominant being while Piccolo provides extra power. It doesn't really matter if one being is dominant while the other isn't, they both can control the body, only the dominant being controls the body more.

Potara Fusion- The Potara Fusion doesn't require any dance or anything like that, you just need 2 earrings. To do the fusion, both beings take an earring and place it on the opposite ear (i.e. one being puts it on the right ear while the other puts it on the left). They stand next to each other and they just fuse together. Goku and Vegeta are the only ones that do it, thus creating Vegetto. In this fusion, Vegeta is the dominant being while Goku supplies extra power, but both beings can control the body, only that Vegeta controls it more. This fusion is supposed to be permanent, but when they were sucked into Buu, they were split apart.

Namekian Fusion- This type of fusion can only be done by Nameks. There are no requirements except that you must be a Namek to do this fusion. For this fusion a Namek just grabs on to another Namek and they do some type of ritual that makes them fuse. To viewers, it just looks like they're holding each other's hand but they are really doing some sort of mental ritual to fuse together. A blue and white aura forms around the Nameks and after a while, they become one. The weaker Namekian sort of just enters the stronger Namekian to supply more ki and strength. It seems that the Namekians can fuse with other Namkians many times because Piccolo fused with Nail and Kami.
