Friends
& Family
My
family… I’m part of a very ‘normal’ family; Mom, dad, older
brother, myself. As you can see, I’m the youngest, I have an older
brother who’s around 20 years old at the moment, and let’s just
start off with him; we don’t get along very well, most of the time.
Luckily, he works a lot so he’s not around all the time. When he is,
he manages to really annoy me.
He
says he hates ninja, but I think he’s either afraid I’ll kick his
but, or jealous that I know how to fight and he doesn’t. He
doesn’t interest himself for things I like, like
Japan
, ninja and anime,
and I try to keep out of his way. Sharing the computers is hard
though… I’ll stop my comments here, because I can’t help myself
mentioning only his negative sides.
My
dad woks as a… you can call it ‘supervisor’ I guess, in the
building trade. He knows a lot about it, we had a section built to our
house, and he did a lot himself. In fact, he’s working on my room at
the moment. I can go along with my dad well, he can be a little
negative, but he’s usually quite kind and never stays angry for
long. It doesn’t really bother him I want to go to
Japan
. He’s also got a
‘relaxed’ personality and never worries too much (my mom doesn’t
always like that).
My
mom can worry herself over the smallest things, but maybe that’s
just something most mothers do. She sometimes thinks I exaggerate
about the
Japan
thing and has no
idea what anime is. She works part-time as a teacher on a primary
school. She can’t work full time anymore, because she didn’t
completely recover from a brain hemorrhage, she’s still got
something with her eyes. All members of my family, except for my dad,
wear glasses (yup, that means I wear glasses too).
Finally,
we don’t have many pets, because my mom doesn’t like most animals.
I do have a pair of hamsters, though ^^;; Not very interesting
animals, but they’re cute. They’re Roborovskii dwarf hamsters and
they’re very tiny, both female (or I certainly may hope so O.O). We
call them ‘Jut’ and ‘Prul’ (guess you need to understand Dutch
to understand these names x.x;;; )
Friends…
You can never have enough of those ^^;; I’m going to a whole new
school and I don’t know many people there. I hope I can make many
friends. At least I’m going there with Lelie; and I’m very glad
about that…
Lelie’s
a very special friend; if it wasn’t for her, I would have never
found out about ninja training, and we also got each other interested
in
Japan
, as well as anime.
When I had first met her, I couldn’t believe that there was someone
who was as interested in
Japan
and anime as I
was! Even when she left school (she’s a year older and her study
took less years) and I was still working on that, we kept in touch. It
resulted in taking ninja training together, and even doing the same
study! And don’t forget all the anime-related things we do; like
anime-shopping or going to cons. Next we’re gonna try being gophers
at an animecon!
I
like the fact that I made friends abroad via the internet - Shiro,
Kero, Jay, Ellana, Katsurina, Melissa, Xiao, Risa, Serbii… uhm,
basically everyone from DBA - I’m very glad I got to ‘meet’ you
all! You’re all great people!! ^^;; *waves*
Then
there’s the kunoichi’s from ninja training. We usually have lotsa
fun hanging out together before the dojo opens. The ninja’s are nice
too, though ^^;;
