1. Good bye to the bewildered yesterday

2. Memories are always a sweet place to run away...

3. ...But let it go in order to live tomorrow.

NEWS: 27/05/2005 ~ Come back from Hell! I've got some nice stuff from Matrix and the Gunze Sangyo Fiat 500 kit is finally airbrushed That's what you get for pairing up two busy  people in a modelling project! Thanks to Willebroek Modeling Club.

Welcome to S.M_G.K!  Featuring Matt's Work

What a weird name for a mysterious place like this! As you know, Japanimation's world is a very, very, very huge place where anybody can lose his wayAmong Fan Art, Doujinshi, Art Books, Collectible Action Figures, OST, DVD and many other stuff, a very interesting "goodies" raise up for the sake of modellers and fans: Garage Kits a.k.a GK.

Garage kits, what a strange name!!! Yes, those littles piecies, sculpted by crazy Japanese guys & molded in some weird warehouses, represent your favorite characters in few little resin parts to paint and assemble. The interest in this particular hobby is that you have to bring up those figurea to life if you want a satisfying result.  That's the best way to learn new artistic technics, bring out your creativity, meet other devoted modellers and give your personnal tribute to animes & mangas.

* That's a verified fact (I guess); I'm the only active GK modeller in the Old Capital area. Few peoples have collection but never built one in their life time.

What will you find on S.M_G.K?

Sailor Moon Garage kits! Sure, but you can expect more: Great Teacher Onizuka, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Kimagure Orange Road, Innocent Tears, Pia Carrot, Crazy Cat Girl Nuku Nuku, Najica, Mahoromatic and other ones! No real FAQ, no personnal forum, no hi-tech help, but some hard-learned knowledge, basic stuff to get started and FIRST OF ALL, my passion for this hobby... There's plenty of excellent "How to get started as a pro" GK websites (i.e. Cody's Coop) and this site doesn't exist to copy it. I'll share my own personnal work to let you enjoy this hobby. I'm an amateur far to be professionnal, still learning a lot and giving my best by handbrushing everything in my sordid basement!

            Hope you'll enjoy your stay!!!

My second GK ever, a 1/7 Kotobukiya Sailor Moon S recastMy first one was a 1/8 G-Port Tsukino Usagi Thai recast and I started the hard way with this terrific piece of crap in Febuary 2003. However, I managed to do a quite good job because this one looks good to me. The thai one explose in pieces on my basement concrete floor on a regular basis. Someday, I'll rebuild her for sure! ^_^ Ganbatte Kudasai!
