Harold Bauer
Harold Bauer is Conductor Laureate of New Philharmonic and DuPage Opera Theatre, professional organizations which he founded and led for 27 years. He has served as music director of six orchestras in the United States and has guest conducted throughout the U.S., in Canada and Europe. Bauer has received critical acclaim for his work in symphony, oratorio, ballet, and opera-- both as conductor and stage director. He is currently Director of Opera at North Park University.
Lee Kesselman
Lee R. Kesselman has been Director of Choral Activities at the College
of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, a suburb of Chicago, since 1981. Hs is Founder
and Music Director of the New Classic Singers, a professional choral ensemble,
and directs the DuPage Chorale and College of DuPage Chamber Singers. Kesselman serves as Music Director for the Opera Workshop at Northern Illinois University. A
native of Milwaukee, he holds an undergraduate degree in piano and composition
from Macalester College in St. Paul, MN and a masters degree in conducting
from the University of Southern California. In addition to teaching and
composing, Mr. Kesselman is active as a conductor, pianist, clinician and
adjudicator, and music director for a variety of opera and musical theater
productions. He has taught on the faculty of the Choral Music Experience
Institute since its inception in 1986.
Kirk Muspratt
Kirk Muspratt was affiliated by the Lake County Indiana Alumnae Chapter in May 2006. In July 2004 he was named both Music Director of New Philharmonic and Artistic Director/Music Director of DuPage Opera Theatre. Mr. Muspratt begins his seventh highly acclaimed season as Music Director of the Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra. Mr Muspratt has guest conducted orchestra in the United States and abroad. He has been the recipient of numerous awards and is recognized as one of the outstanding figures in the new generation of conductors. Mr. Muspratt is a native of Crows Nest Pass, Alberta, Canada.
