All organization (Hardware, Mechanical, PCB, manufturing etc.) associated with the product development process. The Hardware Development Process: A Hardware Requirments Phase: design requirments are driven from product defnition and detailed system requirments. A High Level and Low Level design Phase: HDD and LLD documents are generated, and design is captured using schematic, VHDL, etc. A Verification Phase: It is comprised with three disciplines(Hardware, Mechanical, VLSI) excute tests to detect defects in the product. Integration Phase: Both HWIT and SWIT are considered as independant test groups. HWIT: Hardware Integration Test validates the hardware with the new software. SWIT: Software Integration Test tests multiple feature interactions for new SW load.
OCxx Port Complex, maps SONET/SDH payloads into Tellabs System Packets for routing at the Swich core. I designed an Enhanced Switch Module which interfaces to OC-12 optical signal and performs a DS0 switching for AN2100 VOIP system.
A broadband transport platform, performs bandwidth groomng. Add Drop Multiplexing (ADM) and cross-connections.
Evaluating LR optical interfaces for OC-12 SONET/SDH traffic.

I have worked on optical interfaces from OC-3 to OC-48 for three different projects. Developed hardware modules from concept to delivery to production. Solid working knowledge of transmission line effects on PC boards, backplanes, and copper connections. Executed detailed testing plans, Functional, Regression and Stress testing for entire systems. I was responsible tracking project priorities, developing project plans, developing test plans, generating BOMs, and working with other design and support groups.
