At one point, several years ago, as I was working on a Bible study, I
said to myself, "What am I doing this for? Who is going to benefit from
these beside me?" It was after that declaration, that inspiration left - temporarily.
You just can't make a statement like that and not feel the effects.
I repented and asked the Lord to restore me to my sensitivity and gift. In His mercy, it has started coming back. I do hope you benefit from them
as much as I have. (after all, they were for me at first - for my own personal study)
Before each study the Lord would deal with me about a
scripture or thought. It would "bug" me til I got into the Word to seewhat it had to say about the thought.
Now that I am online, I have an outlet for the Bible studies. I hope they minister to you the same way that they did me.
After all, it is all the Word of God. I have no new thing... it was just
new to me! Most of this is so simple, but that is why sometimes these thoughts
are overlooked. Many try to get sooooo deep, that no one can understand. But,
the Word teaches us that His way is simple. Jesus was a meek, simple, yet
profound teacher. I hope you are blessed by the Word.
