Jerry Frink is taking on the discriminatory choices made local Presbyterian Churches of Sacramento California. At the national conference the Presbyterian Church agreed not to ban GLBT clergy, but left the subject up to local synods. As a result, the majority of Sacramento area Presbyterian churches have hurriedly passed a resolution not to ordain GLBT to the church ministry. As a gay man and a Christian, Jerry has been going to the churchs carrying signs of support for gay christians.

This is a fight against discrimination, in this case it's coming from a religious institution. This demonstration is NOT anti-christian, anti-church, or anti-religion.

This is Jerry's introduction video where you meet him and he talks a little about his background and his decision to protest outside of the church.

This video is of one of the small protests Jerry and friends had for an hour outside of the church Friday evening. It shows Jerry and the support he received from the surrounding community.

Sunday October 1st, Jerry meets the church members at service. Car horns outside of the church blast for support, as choir music plays inside. Most of the congregation were extremely friendly and receptive to Jerry.

Jerry Frink continues his protest at the Fremont Church but examines other churches involved in the discrimination. In this next video, Jerry Frink and Jerry Sloan scout out a new location in Fair Oaks California, with a happy and humorous attitude. For 5 minutes Jerry Frink and Jerry Sloan stood in front of the church testing the response of passing traffic. The response was positive and a protest is scheduled for the last Sunday in October.
