An anti-war and peace rally takes place in Sacramento every Tuesday afternoon, concentrated between 4-6pm at the corner of 16th and J St. A number of different people come from different groups and all are welcome. A few people have extra signs but it would be a good idea to bring one with you.

Following are a few videos on the protest, comments from protesters, and other information as to what has been going on downtown. The first video was taken on 10/10/06, shows some of the protesters, signs, and some comments by the protesters. More videos will be coming in the following weeks.

 

10/17/06 Mounted police kept Vietnam Veterans in check. Several veterans handed out anti-war flyers to cars stopped at the red lights at the intersection.
