If they keep this up I may actually buy one. I stopped purchasing these magazines years ago, figuring giving them money only encouraged them to show stick thin women wearing fashions that ould not suit me. I have a figure similar to Sara-Marie. As I have known people with eating disorders the constant emphasis to be skinny, rather than fit and healthy finally turned me off such magazines. From: Allen Steadham I would like to add my congratulations to Cosmopolitan's editor, Mia Freedman, for taking a bold, positive stance in choosing Sara Marie Fedele to that magazine's next cover. In an industry that is too often filled with unhealthy imagery of undernourished bodies, which encourages eating disorders and poor self-esteem, this is a step in the right direction. 12 August 2001 Perth auditions for Search for a Supermodel held at Challenge Stadium with Karissa Fedele sister of Big Brother Sara-Marie also a supermodel hopeful.
