Soapie Celebrity Slips Up Big Time
THERE were plenty of people around who thought Sara-Marie Fedele deserved to
win the first time she was locked up in the BB house and now she's favourite to take
out the celebrity version.

Centrebet has Fedele at $2.50 to take out the charity challenge.

"Sara-Marie is favourite for two reasons," says Centrebet's Gerard Daffy.

"First, she is popular throughout Australia, something that many of her celebrity
housemates are not.

"Second, many people think that she richly deserved to win the first series and
you can bet that Western Australia will vote for her en bloc."

Sydney Confidential
WHILE noting recent events in New York put everything into perspective, Cosmo chick-in-chief Mia Freedman - Confidential's favourite glossy mag type has answered the critics about last month's flip cover of Britney Spears and the larger Sara-Marie Fedele. To the question, "Was Britney the real cover because she's size 8?", Freedman responds: "No way. The only thing I consider when choosing a cover is fame not size," Freedman writes. "It takes a very famous face(and body) to sell 250,000 copies of a magazine." She's got a point there.

Rove: Yeah but it was so close, like one or two more votes and you almost could have won it
SM: It doesn't bother me babe, I`m just happy to be out
Rove: Doesn't bother you, two hundred and 50 grand and now it goes to Ben

Item: Sara-Marie Cover Breaks Tradition
From: Dilan Ziegler
I think it is wonderful that someone that represents a realistic body image will be on the cover of a
magazine. If they keep this up I may actually buy one. I stopped purchasing these magazines years ago, figuring giving them money only encouraged them to show stick thin women wearing fashions that ould not suit me. I have a figure similar to Sara-Marie. As I have known people with eating disorders the constant emphasis to be skinny, rather than fit and healthy finally turned me off such magazines.

From: Allen Steadham
I would like to add my congratulations to Cosmopolitan's editor, Mia Freedman, for taking a bold, positive stance in choosing Sara Marie Fedele to that magazine's next cover. In an industry that is too often filled with unhealthy imagery of undernourished bodies, which encourages eating disorders and poor self-esteem, this is a step in the right direction.
