Sabrina’s diet and health suggestions (under supervision of Dr. George Byrnes)
Protein (eat as much as possible)
|
|
Fats (fat doesn’t make fat but carbohydrates with starch do)
o
Natural fats, i.e. butter, olive oil, canola oil, etc. (no margarine or other processed fats such as hydrogenated fats)
Vegetables/Nuts/Fruits/Alcohol (carbohydrates)
o
All fruits and vegetables (especially dark green salads, spinach, broccoli, etc.)Except: carrots, mangos and bananas (they are loaded with sugar), beans and potatoes (due to the starch)
o
All raw nuts (without salt or honey – they make great snacks)o
No white rice, prefer wild rice (without sugar and eat sparingly)o
Dry red or white wine (always drink twice as much water with it as it dehydrates the body)o
No bread or flour, no cakes or fried food (number one weight gain cause)
Follow these simple rules
o
Drink eight 8 ounce glasses per day, if not more until you "float". After about 2 weeks your body will adjust and you will go to the bathroom less frequently but more. You can get a water filter for about $20-$30 so you won’t have to buy and drag water bottles. Use filtered water for cooking as well.o
Do aerobic exercise at least 3 times per week 30-50 minutes before eating, such as brisk walking, riding bike, swimming, jogging (you will burn at least 4-5 times as much fat and calories). Always warm up 10 minutes before and cool down 10 minutes after exercising. Weights are not necessary.o
If eating fruit, always eat it before a meal and follow up with protein, which breaks down the sugar immediately.o
Always eat at least 3 meals per day with protein and some carbohydrates, especially vegetables. Don’t skip meals as it will slow down your metabolism.o
Avoid coffee and decaf, as it will not only dehydrate but also add more stress to your adrenal glands. If you can’t avoid it, always follow up with twice as much water and restrict.o
Eat fresh and organic foods, no processed or canned foods. You can always precook and freeze to save time. Chop veggies up and put in containers or zipper bags. It only takes a minute to mix them in a salad or omelette.o
Read labels (you will be surprised what kind of bad things you will find)o
Don’t use sweeteners or refined sugars as they are loaded with chemicals. You can use Stevia instead, if necessary.o
Avoid sweets as they are processed and mainly contain hydrogenated fats. If you can’t resist, restrict as much as possible, skip carbohydrates and exercise more.
Improvements
o
Weight loss should only be about 1-2 pounds per week. The body burns fat and strengthens muscles, which weigh more. You will notice that the cellulite disappears. You will lose weight around the hips, buttocks, thighs etc. in already the first 2-3 weeks, if you stick to eating healthy as listed above.o
Balances blood sugar and cholesterol already within 2-4 weeks.o
Prevents or improves heart problems.o
Headaches, asthma, rashes, allergies, etc. disappear already within the first two weeks.o
You will notice more energy within the first week (just don’t use this energy to work longer hours!).o
Most previously rescribed medications can be stopped within a few weeks.o
With this diet you attack the source, not the symptoms. Symptoms appear if the body is already tipped over and exhausted to fight it off, especially without nutrition and without exercise. "Normal" doctors and specialists only treat symptoms and prescribe medication that makes it only worse and causes side effects.o
Good luck and will power in the first few weeks! You will experience more energy, and it will get easier by day because the body won’t crave much more sugar or junk foods!
