God's Goalie A Mark Richards' Virtual Photo Album

(January 16, 1998) Last night's game featured the UHL's two all-star goaltenders, Mark Richards of the IceHawks and Darryl Gilmour of the Monsters, and was a matchup between teams that haven't had to score many goals to win.

Richards won the battle in the shootout, stopping all but one of the Monsters' four attempts and wrapping up the victory when he knocked down Chris Grenville's wrist shot.

The IceHawks made short work of the extra period, scoring on their first three attempts.
