Dave Paradise had a goal and an assist and Aaron Gavey tallied his fourth goal in three games as the Saint John Flames edged the Springfield Falcons, 3-2. Mark Richards made 37 saves for Saint John, which won three straight for the first time since November 5th-14th (1997). Paradise's fourth goal gave Saint John a 1-0 lead midway through the first period. After Ted Crowley tied the score early in the third period, Paradise assisted on Chris O'Sullivan's marker at 6:52 and restored the one-goal lead. Gavey's goal made it 3-1 with 8:56 to play. Richards has been in net for all three wins during the current streak and has allowed six goals in that span.
