| Below is a list of all the Feadoses for which rules have currently been written and approved. This is by no means an exhaustive list, and if after reading all the Feadoses listed below you find your desired Feados is not represented at all, write up the rules for it and email it to me for approval and inclusion. To find a specific Feados in the list below please use your browser's Search function. | ||||||||||||
| Aberrant Eyes (1 point) The characters eyes are an unusual colour, or display a pattern or picture. Other variations of Aberrant Eyes include multicoloured, a lack of eyes (without penalty to vision), or eyes that constantly change colours or hues. Bizarre Feature (1 point) There is something distinctly odd or inhuman about the character, such as oddly-shaped fingernails or glittering hair, that will likely draw suspicion. This Feados does not cover eye or skin colour as these are covered in separate Feadoses. This Feados may be bought/acquired multiple times. Cleft Lip (1 point) The character has a speech impediment of some sort (which should be roleplayed at all times). In addition, all Social rolls related to speech or appearance are made at +1 difficulty. Cyclops (1 point) The Nephilim has only one eye. Note that she has not lost an eye, but actually physically has just the one eye. As such, she suffers no visual penalties, since she has adapted quite sufficiently, but many will look upon her with disgust or mistrust. Deadly Addiction (1 point) This Feados must be accompanied by one of the following Feadoses: Minor Addiction, Serious Addiction or Critical Addiction, and reflects that the Nephilims Addiction is extremely dangerous to engage in or come by. Examples include Nephilim blood, murdering newborn babies, and bleeding herself to the point of near death. Deathly Cold (1 point) Nephilim with this Feados are icy cold to the touch, and will indeed even bring down room temperatures slightly. Demonic Aura (Detrimental) (1 point) The character somehow radiates evil, and is treated with suspicion by most, and outright prejudice by others. All Social rolls made against characters subscribing to any Code of Ethics other than Malignance are increased in difficulty by +1. This Feados is very often combined with the Kylar: Demonic Aura (Beneficial). Minor Addiction (1 point) The Nephilim has an addiction to a certain substance or activity, from drinking blood to suffering great pain, and must engage in it at least once a month. At the Storytellers option, this activity may be one of the characters Kylars (e.g. the Nephilim must engage use her ability to Cause Insanity once per month). If the character goes longer than a month without engaging in her Addiction, she is wracked by severe mental pain, and her dice pools drop by 1 for each day she does not sate her desires. The Storyteller must approve all choices for Addictions, and the subject of this Feados must be something that is not readily available, or acceptable in normal society, and cannot be the same as her Diet if she also suffers from that type of Feados. This Feados is often accompanied by the Feados: Deadly Addiction. No Reflection (1 point) The Nephilim casts no reflection a sure mark of the Initium Occasus. Permanent Grin (1 point) Both bizarre and unnerving, the Nephilims expression is twisted into a permanent grin which she is unable to shake off unless she spends a Willpower point, which will allow her facial muscles to relax for the remainder of the scene. Uses of Malleate will also allow the Nephilim to lose her Permanent Grin, but at the end of the scene it will mystically reform. Unusual Diet (1 point) The Nephilim must partake in an unusual yet reasonably accessible substance to gain nourishment, such as dirty water, raw meat, or freshly drawn milk. Although the character can survive on other substances, her health will begin to seriously deteriorate if she does not swiftly partake of her normal dietary requirements. The subject of her Diet cannot be the same as her Addiction if she also suffers from that type of Feados. Unsightly Appearance (1 point) There is something odd or unsightly about the Nephilim that causes others to distrust or shun her, although it is possible for her to pass as a human with birth defects rather than as a Nephilim. The characters Appearance cannot ever permanently exceed 2. Useless Claws (1 point) The character has developed blunt claws, which cannot be sheathed, and are useless unless combined with the Kylar: Claws. Useless Fangs (1 point) The Nephilim has developed dulled fangs, which cannot be retracted, and are useless unless combined with the Kylar: Fangs. Useless Horns (1 point) The character has developed rounded horns, which cannot easily be disguised or hidden, and which are useless unless combined with the Kylar: Horns. Webbed Hands/Feet (1 point) The characters hands or feet are webbed, giving her an obvious taint of the Initium Occasus. These features provide no benefit for activities such as swimming. This Feados may be bought/acquired twice, once for hands and once for feet. Coloured Skin (2 points) The characters skin is an unnatural, though not necessarily unpleasant, colour and/or texture. The skin can be any colour at all, or even a mixture of colours. Cowardice (2 points) The characters inner fears surface whenever she is faced with danger, stress or pressure. All Courage rolls are made at +2 difficulty. Denied Aptitude (2 points) The Nephilm is unable to access, learn or utilise one of the known Aptitudes. Upon purchase/acquisition of this Feados, the player must pick any one Aptitude from the rulebook that her character does not already possess dots in, and from that point on the character may never learn that Aptitude. This Feados may be bought/acquired multiple times. Glow (2 points) The characters body has a permanent glow to it, and emits intermittent crackles of energy whenever she spends Power for anything. This makes social interaction difficult, bestowing a +1 increase to the difficulties of all Social rolls. In addition, when in darkness, all opponents are at 1 difficulties to hit the character. Hairless (2 points) The character has absolutely no hair whatsoever, including eyebrows, armpits and pubic hair. Halo of Flies (2 points) The character is constantly beset by a plague of buzzing insects, making social interaction much harder; the character is at +1 difficulty to all Social rolls. Head of Snakes (2 points) The characters hair is transformed into a writhing mass of snapping snakes. These snakes cause no damage against either the character or her opponents, but they do cause a +1 difficulty on all Social rolls, unless hidden under a hood or a helmet. Hideous Appearance (2 points) The Appearance rating of a character with this Mark drops instantly to 1, and cannot be raised any higher without supernatural aid, due to some disgusting or offputting feature. All Social rolls are made at +1 difficulty. Migraines (2 points) The character suffers from frequent severe headaches and migraines. Every time she Botches a roll, in addition to any other consequences, the character is at 1 to all dice pools until the end of the scene. Twisted Limb (2 points) One of the characters limbs (arm or leg) is bent, twisted and warped out of shape. This Feados does not cause any physical impediment, but it does look very odd, and will cause most onlookers to suspect that the character has been tainted by the Initium Occasus. This Feados may be bought multiple times, to a maximum of one per limb that the character has. Useless Tentacles (2 points) The character has useless, flaccid Tentacles that sometimes move randomly of their own accord, but usually just drag along behind her, unless accompanied by the Kylar: Tentacles. Each time she acquires this Feados, the player must roll a single dice; the number rolled is the number of Tentacles the character acquires from the Kylar. If this Feados is acquired at the same time as the Kylar: Tentacles, follow the guidelines detailed for that Kylar. The number of Useless Tentacles is permanent. This Feados may only be purchased once at character creation, but can be acquired further times during the course of play. Voice of the Damned (2 points) The Nephilims voice radiates evil, and all who hear it are struck with fear or loathing. While this can be beneficial sometimes indeed, the difficulty of all Intimidation rolls is lowered by 1 it can also be most troublesome; the difficulty of all Charisma rolls is increased by 2, and the character will often be considered untrustworthy by all she meets, even by those who truly are evil. Boils And Sores (3 points) The characters body is covered in boils, sores, and other such nasty looking afflictions. This Feados does not cause any injury to either the character herself or to any others, but it does make social interaction much harder, imposing a +2 difficulty to all Social rolls. Chitonous Skin (3 points) The characters flesh is chitonous and scaly, imposing a +2 difficulty on all Social rolls unless the flesh is mostly covered by clothing and armour, in which case the difficulty is only increased by 1. The Chitonous Skin does not provide the character with any benefit unless coupled with the Kylar: Scaly Skin. Disturbing Diet (3 points) The Nephilim must partake in a disturbing and uncommon substance to gain nourishment, such as blood, human flesh or children. Although the character can survive on other substances, her health will begin to seriously deteriorate if she does not swiftly partake of her normal dietary requirements. The subject of her Diet cannot be the same as her Addiction if she also suffers from that type of Feados. Dripping (3 points) The Nephilms flesh is sloppy and lubricated, and constantly exuding a bodily fluid, similar to pus, that drips, leaving a trail behind her wherever she goes (when on dry land). All attempts to track her in dry conditions are made at 2 difficulty. In addition, the mere sight of her is so offputting that she suffers a +1 difficulty on all Social rolls, and while dressing in thick clothing may help to hide this ghastly trait, it wont be long before the sickly fluid seeps through and gives her away. Hunchback (3 points) The character has developed a hunchback, which affects the characters interaction with others and makes some physical tasks harder. The difficulties of all Appearance-based rolls are increased by 2, as are all appropriate Dexterity rolls. Non-Human Form (3 points) This Feados covers all manner of possibilities, and is extremely common among Nephilim. Essentially, it means that the character does not resemble a human or humanoid, not even vaguely, but interpretation beyond that is down to the player and the Storyteller. However, it is quite clear to all that the character is not human, which can make for difficult circumstances, as well as a +2 difficulty to all Social rolls when dealing with ordinary humans, and +1 to humans who have had some experience with Non-Human Formed Nephilim before. Permanent Wound (3 points) The Nephilim suffers from a wound that can never be healed, naturally or mystically. The effect of this depends on the nature of the wound, but a general guideline is that all rolls relating to one of the characters Attributes is always made at either +1 difficulty or at 1 to the dice pool. Psychotic (3 points) The character has degenerated to pure evil, and acts accordingly. If she has not already done so, her Nature changes to either Monster or Sadist, and she immediately transfers to the Code of Malignancy. Serious Addiction (3 points) The Nephilim has an addiction to a certain substance or activity, from drinking blood to suffering great pain, and must engage in it at least once a week. At the Storytellers option, this activity may be one of the characters Kylars (e.g. the Nephilim must engage use her ability to Cause Insanity once per week). If the character goes longer than a week without engaging in her Addiction, she is wracked by severe mental pain, and her dice pools drop by 2 for each day she does not sate her desires. The Storyteller must approve all choices for Addictions, and the subject of this Feados must be something that is not readily available, or acceptable in normal society, and cannot be the same as her Diet if she also suffers from that type of Feados. This Feados is often accompanied by the Feados: Deadly Addiction. Shade (3 points) Although perfectly corporeal and visible, the Nephilims body is composed entirely out of a shadowy substance that shimmers and ripples ever so slightly. Her features are distinct enough to detect by close observation and by touch, and any clothes and items she wears or holds are unaffected by this Feados. However, due to the bizarre nature of her appearance, she suffers a +1 difficulty penalty to all Social rolls. In addition, she suffers Lethal damage from bright lights, including light cast by flames (when in a previously dark area). Vestigial Part (3 points) The character has an extra body part, such as an additional thumb, fangs, or ear. Such Vestigial Parts can usually be hidden with care, but if they are witnessed, the character had better come up with a believable story, else she may face extreme adversity. This Feados may be purchased multiple times. Wings (3 points) The character has a pair of wings, which are useless unless coupled with the Kylar: Wings. Either way, the wings may be hidden from sight by folding them beneath armour, but not clothing (as the bulge would show too easily). Atrophy (4 points) Upon developing this Feados, the character must choose one Physical Attribute, and decrease its maximum rating by 1. This Attribute may still be raised upon attaining level 6 Might, the Kylar: Gift of the Initium Occasus, and other similar powers, but the overall maximum of the trait remains at 1. This Mark may be acquired multiple times, for the same Attribute or for different Attributes (Physical only). Crusty (4 points) The characters skin is flaky and crusty, and constantly sheds dry and dead skin, leaving a trail of fine brown powder everywhere that she goes. Dust collects in the characters clothes, lungs and especially her eyes, causing +1 difficulty to all Dexterity and Perception rolls due to discomfort. No amount of scratching, picking or bathing can rid the character of this Feados. Beast Head (4 points) The Nephilims head is that of a beast, whether common or mythical, while the rest of her body is unaffected. This Feados does not bestow any benefits (a character with the head of a dragon does not gain any bonuses for her teeth, nor does she receive any special breath attacks); these must be purchased as Kylars separately. However, due to her unsettling appearance, the character is at +3 to the difficulties of all Social rolls. In addition, some Beast Heads might cause speech impediments, and other difficulties. Demonic Appearance (4 points) The Appearance rating of a character with this Feados drops instantly to zero, and cannot be raised any higher without supernatural aid, due to some truly horrific feature. A character with a Demonic Appearance can never hope to be welcomed by society, and will find herself a permanent outcast from civilisation. Disproportionate Limb (4 points) One of the characters limbs (head, a hand or a foot) is either much larger or much smaller than it ought to be. A character with such a Feados will find social interaction extremely difficulty (all Social rolls are made at +3 difficulty). This Feados may be acquired multiple times. Featureless Face (4 points) The characters face is completely featureless, and appears as a smooth expanse of flesh, with two tiny slits for sight and a slightly bigger slit that acts as the opening for a mouth. As with Demonic Appearance, a character with this Feados can never hope to be welcomed by society, and will find herself a permanent outcast from civilisation. A character with this Feados does not have any of her senses (sight, smell, taste or hearing) impeded by its effects. Lust (4 points) The Nephilim is unable to resist the chemical attraction of members of either the opposite sex, the same sex, or perhaps even both, and when faced with the opportunity to satisfy her Lust, she must succeed on a Self-Control/Instinct roll (difficulty 6+) to avoid losing herself to her desires. While this may be an advantage in regaining Vita, the attraction also counts for fellow Nephilim, which could make for interesting encounters... Lust For Innocence (4 points) Innocent people spark something in the Nephilim, and they are drawn to them like a moth to the flame. When faced with an innocent being, the character must roll her Self-Control/Instinct (difficulty 7). If she succeeds, she is unaffected this time. If she fails, she immediately becomes attached to the subject, and will act, albeit in an obsessed manner, according to her individual personality and Code of Ethics, be it suffering from actual lust, a desire to protect the innocent subject, or even to defile or kill the target. In any case, she will be obsessed with the target until the end of the scene. If the character Botches this roll, she will instead act in the opposite manner to her personality and Code of Ethics. Solid Substance (4 points) The Nephilims flesh is made of some hard, solid substance, such as wood, rock, ice etc. This in itself does not provide any benefits, but the Feados is often coupled with Kylars such as Iron Hard Skin or Scaly Skin. Apart from the strange looks and mistrust the character will receive, her movement is also restricted, and her normal movement rates are halved. Vampiric Tendency (4 points) The character becomes a Vita vampire, meaning that she must drink the blood of others to restore her Vita pool. The character ceases to regain Vita in the normal way and must instead drain a living creature completely of blood, by ingesting it orally, to replenish her Vita. Be warned, however drinking the blood of some creatures can sometimes produce some interesting (and random) effects, which the Storyteller should take full advantage of Vita Hunger (4 points) The Nephilim hungers for Vita, and must always have at least 5 Vita points within her to be able to function if she ever drops below this, all dice pools are halved. In addition, whenever she faces the opportunity to take Vita, through any means and regardless of the situation, she will, although this urge can be suppressed for a scene by spending a Willpower point. Beastial Appearance (5 points) The characters outward appearance is as a savage demonic beast, and as such the character suffers a +4 difficulty penalty on all Social rolls. Centaur (5 points) The characters lower torso is that of a four-legged animal, such as a horse, bull or even dragon. Unless this Feados is coupled with the Kylar: Centaur, the only effect that this Mark has is that the character suffers a +4 difficulty penalty on all Social rolls. Critical Addiction (5 points) The Nephilim has an addiction to a certain substance or activity, from drinking blood to suffering great pain, and must engage in it at least once a day. At the Storytellers option, this activity may be one of the characters Kylars (e.g. the Nephilim must engage use her ability to Cause Insanity once per day). If the character goes longer than a week without engaging in her Addiction, she is wracked by severe mental pain, and her dice pools drop by 1 for each hour she does not sate her desires. The Storyteller must approve all choices for Addictions, and the subject of this Feados must be something that is not readily available, or acceptable in normal society, and cannot be the same as her Diet if she also suffers from that type of Feados. This Feados is often accompanied by the Feados: Deadly Addiction. Deadly Diet (5 points) The Nephilim must partake in a deadly and rare substance to gain nourishment, such as Nephilim flesh or pure Vita from the Initium Occasus itself. Although the character can survive on other substances, her health will begin to seriously deteriorate if she does not swiftly partake of her normal dietary requirements. The subject of her Diet cannot be the same as her Addiction if she also suffers from that type of Feados. Fleshless Head (5 points) The character has no flesh on her head, instead having just a skull in its place. Interestingly, although the skull has no visible tongue, eyes, brain, or any other organ that would normally be found in the characters head, none of her senses or mental capacities are affected by this Feados. The only effect of it is that the character suffers a +4 difficulty penalty on all Social rolls. Light-Sensitive (5 points) Bright lights cause critical pain and injury to the Nephilim, and when faced with sources of bright light, including the light from flames, and sunlight, she suffers 1 level of unsoakable Lethal damage for each turn faced with it. Heavily shielding her eyes will help, but even being in the mere presence of such brightness will cause her to feel extremely uncomfortable. Rotting (5 points) The characters flesh is in a constant state of rot. Each time she suffers more damage from a single blow than her Stamina rating, she loses whatever part of the body was struck; in the case of the head or the heart, the character is instantly killed. In addition, once per month, the character loses a part of her body anyway. At first this might just be fingers or toes, but in the latter stages it could be arms or legs, and eventually internal organs, lost through the bowels. This second drawback is negated if the character has Entropic Force 2: Regenerate. Second Head (5 points) The character has a second head somewhere on her body. All Social rolls are thus made at +3 difficulty, since the additional head will do whatever it can to get the character into trouble. The second head can be temporarily silenced by gagging it, but it will eventually chew thorough the gag. Any attempt to physically silence it (such as cutting out its tongue) will harm the real head in exactly the same manner. The second head can survive the death of the first, but only for a limited period, as it has no control over the rest of the body. The second head has the same Mental Attributes as the character, and cannot be removed using the Malleate Aptitude. Tail (5 points) The character has some sort of tail, which, unless coupled with a Kylar such as Scorpion Tail or Mace Tail, is flaccid and uncontrollable, and cannot be used in any way. A character with a Tail suffers a +4 difficulty penalty on all Social rolls. Vestigial Limb (5 points) The character has an additional limb (leg, arm, horns, tail etc.) that, unless coupled with an appropriate Gift (such as Additional Limb or Mace Tail), is useless and uncontrollable. Having a Vestigial Limb means that the character suffers a +4 difficulty penalty on all Social rolls. Vulnerability (5 points) The Nephilim is particularly vulnerable to a certain type of damage, such as falling, physical wounds, lacerations, lightning, fire etc. and she suffers twice the usual damage it would normally cause every time the source of her Vulnerability causes her injury. When the character first acquires this Feados, her player must define it immediately. This Feados may be bought/acquired multiple times, for different Vulnerabilities. Horrific Appearance (6 points) There is something so disturbing, so terrible with the characters appearance that she can be guaranteed to be hunted down immediately by all who meet her, even fellow Nephilim, for her mere visage stokes intense feelings of true hatred against her. In addition, the character can no longer make any Social rolls other than those concerning Intimidation. |
