Malleate
The Malleate Aptitude deals with alterations to the body, mostly that of the Nephilim herself, but also sometimes of others.

 Metabolic Efficiency
The basic level of Malleate grants the character a better natural defence against poisons and toxins. In game terms, the character does not begin to lose health levels once her Physical Attributes have been reduced to zero (see rules for
Poison).

 Sculpt

Using the Sculpt power, the character may alter the flesh composition of herself or of another, by spending 1 Vita and succeeding on a Dexterity + Medicine roll (difficulty variable; a crude effect is difficulty 5, while something more impressive (such as increasing or decreasing the targets Appearance) is difficulty 8 or 9). The number of successes scored indicates how well the procedure went. If this power is used to actively cause harm to another character, the victim may soak the successes scored on the Sculpt roll; any that are left over are converted to Bashing damage. Healing this damage will not however reverse the physical effects of Sculpt. The effects of this power on others may only be cancelled by another character using Malleate, a successful use of the
Vita Totus power: Undo, or by cutting off the affected organ and mystically healing it (if this is possible). Essentially, without mystical assistance, a victim of Sculpt has little hope of reversing its effects.

 Alter
Alter works in exactly the same way as Sculpt, except that the character may now craft the targets skeletal structure as well as flesh (all in the same power). Alter costs 2 Vita, and causes Lethal damage rather than Bashing, should the character desire to cause injury to the victim. The effects of this power on others may only be cancelled by another character using Malleate, a successful use of the
Vita Totus power: Undo, or by cutting off the affected organ and mystically healing it (if this is possible). Essentially, without mystical assistance, a victim of Alter has little hope of reversing its effects.

 Stretch
With this power, the character may extend her neck and/or limbs, providing extra dextrous abilities, as well as other uses such as being able to see round corners, reach around objects, and see above tall obstructions. Stretch costs 2 Vita and requires a Stamina + Athletics roll (difficulty 6 for one limb, 7 for another etc. up to 10 for 5 separate limbs (e.g. head, legs and arms); each success on the roll allows the character to stretch the limb(s) by up to six inches. This power does not bestow any additional benefits other than the obvious.

 Detach Limb

Detach Limb allows the character to remove one or more of her limbs to use as spies, weapons, or even just an extra pair of hands. Doing so costs 2 Vita and requires a Stamina + Medicine roll (difficulty 7 for one hand or foot, 8 for both hands or both feet or the characters head, and 9 for anything more). Removing the limbs causes 5 levels of Lethal damage (6 for the head), reduced by 1 for each success scored on the Detach Limb roll; they may exist for up to an hour while detached before they begin to deteriorate. Re-attaching them simply requires that the character place the limb to the point of severance, and hold them together for a few seconds. While detached, any damage that the limbs sustain (after soaking with a soak pool of 2) is directly applied to the characters main health levels; if a Detached Limb sustains more than 3 health levels of damage it is destroyed (permanently). The character has complete control over all Detached Limbs (unless they are destroyed).

  Homunculus
The Homunculus power allows the character to create tiny replicas of herself, at the cost of 3 Vita. She must roll Stamina + Medicine (difficulty 7); each success creates a Homunculus. Homunculi have Physical Attributes of 1, 1 health level, and are completely controlled by the character that created them. A Homunculus will last for up to one hour before crumbling into dust.

  Martialry
Using Martialry, the character can shape her limbs, bones, or even her entire body, into various weapons. Examples include sharpening her arms into bone spurs, carving her skull into a large horn, and covering her body with small bone spikes. Martialry costs 3 Vita to use, and requires a Stamina + Medicine roll (difficulty 7) for each weapon (although the Vita cost covers all weapons to be created during the rest of the scene). The number of successes scored indicates how long the arsenal will last (in turns). All weapons created in this way cause Bashing damage, unless sharpened, in which case they may (at Storyteller discretion) cause Lethal damage. In all other respects, the weapons should be treated just as normal weapons.

  Form of the Giant
Using this power causes the character to grow in size, mass and weight until she has, literally, the Form of the Giant. The power costs 4 Vita and requires a Stamina + Athletics roll (difficulty 7). The character then increases in size, mass and weight by (the number of successes scored + the characters Malleate rating) feet. For each success rolled, the character also gains +2 Strength, +1 Stamina, and one extra Bruised Health Level. The Attribute increases may take the character over her maximums. However, for each success rolled, any opponents attacking or perceiving the character an additional die to the appropriate dice pool. Furthermore, the damage taken by the additional Health Levels is transferred to the characters usual Health Levels upon returning to normal size; hence, a character that takes copious damage while in the Form of the Giant and remains standing might be instantly killed upon returning to normal. The power lasts for five minutes or two turns per dot in the characters Malleate rating, or less if the character so desires or if she is reduced to Incapacitated (in which case she will almost certainly then die).

  Backup Organ
This power is more of a ritual, since its effects take some time; it is used to grow Backup Organs such as kidneys, hands, arms, even a new head, brain or heart. The Backup Organ stays inside the body, only becoming an external organ and/or beginning to work when the organ it is replacing is damage or destroyed; when this happens the Backup Organ appears (if applicable) instantly. Decapitating an enemy only to have the head suddenly re-grow is an extremely unnerving experience (although to do so, the character will need to re-grow both the head and the brain seperately). Creating a Backup Organ requires that the character spend 4 Vita and roll Stamina + Medicine (difficulty 5 for a minor organ such as a hand, up to 9 for an essential and complex organ, such as a new head, heart or brain). The Backup Organ will be ready and fully grown in (10 the number of successes scored) days. Only one Backup Organ may be created per 4 Vita spent, but a character may have various Backup Organs in various stages of development at any one time, if she spends enough Vita; this includes more than one of the same type (e.g. a character could in all probability have 10 or more heads stored and ready as Backup Organs).

  Bodymorph
The ultimate form of Malleate is Bodymorph, which allows the character to alter her body into any shape or form, and make it into any substance. Bodymorph costs 5 Vita, and requires a successful Stamina + Occult roll. The difficulty of this roll is determined by the Storyteller, as are the effects and the interpretation of how many successes are rolled.
