WORK EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING

Mar 2000 - Present Snaz Ltd, 4th Floor, Newserver House, Singer Street, London, EC2A 4BQ

Java Programmer

I designed an online ticketing system and media management system using JSP,CSS, Javascripts and html for the presentation layer. Java servlets and Java Beans for coding the business model and mysql for the back-end database. The model view controller pattern was used for the design in order to ensure clean separation between presentation and logic. The above technology was used to capture as much information as possible from the database for each html page in order to reduce the number of clicks to buy a ticket on the web. Check http://www.2getaticket.com for demo and Projects/snaps.html for snapshots.

I can design and maintain web pages, as I have a personal web page designed and created by me, which I update and maintain regularly. This site can be found at http://www.geocities.com/s_durojaiyeuk.

I designed a database tool in java swing API to update and manage a Mysql database remotely. Snapshots of this application can be found at http://www.geocities.com/s_durojaiyeuk/Projects/dbtool.html.

Designed a search facility in html and javascript for all the links and inspirational quotes on my website. Check for demo the following sites: Links Search Facility & Quotes Search Facility

I designed a ‘quote generation machine using selected keywords’ using javascript and microsoft excel in a creative way. This site can be found at: Random Quote Generator

I also designed an online bookmark web page, using javascript event model, microsoft excel and java webcrawlers in order to share my bookmarks online. This site can be found at: Online Bookmark

Check the following site for my html design skills: Template 1 Template 2

I have developed and cultivated tools to manage my personal site - i.e. checking for broken links, ftp'ing files from and to the server and using webcrawlers to get useful information from the internet to enrich content.

I used B2B webmethods to extract product information from many vendor sites using regular expression and pattern matching. The retrieved information is then manipulated in a java program and the data stored in a Sybase database using JDBC. I also developed a web-based testing tool using servlets to test all the B2B services. A proprietary template caching mechanism was used to render dynamic data to the front end. This work also involved invoking stored procedures and the application of business rules to the data.

Javascript object model, Stylesheet and Html -(WCW standard) for front-end development.

Intranet - Organised and created the data behind my company's intranet site

Project lifecycle - Introduced to the complete lifecycle involved in the software development cycle, including code review and testing.

Sep 1999 - Feb 2000 Barclays Bank plc, 1st Floor, St Swithins House, 11-12 St Swithins Lane, London, EC4

Excel/Access Data Analyst - Contract

I used Microsoft macros technology to consolidate, analyse and link financial data dispersed over different worksheets and tables. Wrote Excel Macros for the analysis i.e. (summarisation and aggregation) of these data in order to extract knowledge.

Duration of Commercial Technology Experiences
