Seeing auras is easy to learn. Auras are not seen by directly looking at them. They are seen with peripheral vision (side vision). Most people see something move out of the corner of their eye but when they turn round nothing has moved. This is because peripheral vision picks up the slightest movement and picks up ghost's energy.
After images
There has often been debates about after images and auras. An aura is a band of light but an after image is the image travelling with your eyes. If you look at an image for more than 10 seconds you create an after image in your head. This then travels around your sight for a few seconds then it dissappears.
You CAN get an after image off looking at an aura for too long. When this happens in training it is best to take a break.
Etheric Aura
This is the first aura clinging to the object. It is no more than half an inch wide. It surrounds the object like a pale coloured band.

Training
Wrap some blue or red coloured paper around a book and put it standing in front of a white/pale coloured wall. The other alternative is to go to an online aura viewing tool. A blue object on a white background is best. Stand/sit between 2 metres and 1.2 metres away. Now, you know the action where you are just about to drop off to sleep/daydreaming? Do it. Gaze just to the side/top of the object. See diagram. Keep gazing there and a coloured band should appear around the object. Dont worry!!! It will take at LEAST 3 tries to start to see it appear. Do not tense any muscle or take your eye off the fixed spot or look at it or it will vanish instantly. REMEMBER: The aura must be gazed upon NOT looked at. If you need to blink, do so. It is no good straining your eyes and making them water because that will do more harm than blinking. Dont worry. Once youve blinked the aura will reappear in a few seconds. Congratuations!!! you have just seen your first aura. If you practice and practice, it will take less and less time for the aura to appear.
There will be days when auras will be very hard to see and days when they appear without even trying to see them. Relax, this is totally normal.
