31. Did your family have a favorite saying? What was it, and how did you feel about it?
"You're Lookin' Good! We have said it to each other in the family for a long time. When Toad, Nan and I were young, there was a guy that was going to say your all good looking to us. Instead he said you're looking good. We picked right up on that and thought it was funny. We have said it ever since and still laugh everytime time.
32. Did your family have a favorite meal or recipe? Could you share the recipe with us?
One of the favorites is my potato salad. All of the picnics and party's we were invited to, I was asked to make my potato salad. I'll give you the recipe, all ingrediants are optional. Potatoes, eggs, celery, radishes, parsley onion salt, celery salt, Hellman's mayo, you can add olives instead of radishes or cukes.
33. Do you have a family heirloom? What is it and what will you do with it?
I have several family heirlooms. One is a rocking chair that was my great grandmother and grandfather Osburgs. Daddy gave it to me when Grandma Alice Harris died. I sit in it everyday. Also a kitchen mantel clock dated 1886 that was Grandma Ella Miller's. My things will be split up someday and given to my kids or I'll give to whoever.
34. Do you have a funny family story you can share?
We had two hound dogs named Obie and Chico. Every time company would come to the door, they would raise hell trying to get at them. We would have to put them in the bedroom until company left. One time when Heidi had a date she said, don't forget to put the dogs in the bedroom. So, Wes put them in his room. As Heidi and her date were going out the door, Wes let the dogs out. They were fighting and growling with each other to be first to the door to try to light into her date. They were really making a lot of noise. We thought it was funny, but Heidi was so embarrassed. We always wondered what her date thought.

37. Tell us a memory of your childhood.
When I was about 7 years old, my sister Nan (9 yrs old), and my \brother Billy (6 yrs old) lived in a house by the Half-Way Brook on Ridge Road. There were a lot of barns at that time on the land. My father use to keep his beer (Irish Cream Ale) in a spring that was by the road to keep it cold. Between the three of us, we all had discussed it might be nice to get into the beer for a little drink. Nan divided all the beer up between us. There was a total of 1 or 2 quarts. We proceeded to take the beer to one of the barns to drink it. Boy, it tasted good! After drinking it all, we tried to sneak back home knowing we were quite tipsy. Ma caught us and spanked us with the razor strap. She fed us bean sandwiches and put us to bed. We all got sick and threw up. When my father got home, my mother said, "Come here and look at your children, they got into your beer." He took one look at us and laughed and laughed. We didn't visit the spring again. I have often wondered if that spring is still there.
38. Tell us a memory of your teenage years.
I was about 13 or 14 years old. We used to be in Youth Fellowship at Harrisena Church. We used to have meetings every Monday evening. We always had a plan to do something fun. One time in the month of January we got skates and went up on Lake George. We started skating at Warner Bay and ended up in Cleverdale that night, meeting at one of the kids homes. We had refreshments and got a ride home. When I think a bout it, it was kind of dangerous. Most of the time our youth group would go to Brennons Roller Rink. That was fun. I got to be a pretty good skater. We skated singles, couples and raced. I never lacked for a partner.
39. Tell us an experience you had as a parent.
