Smashfest 9/3-4/05
Labor Day Weekend |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
People there: Scott, Richard, Adam, Angelo, Jeremy, Jose
Labor day weekend, first weekend back home from college, and everyone wanted to play Smash for some sick reason. If you aren't one of the people that were there, you probably don't know, but back in the day, like before even Connecticon 2004, this group of people (minus Richard) was our Smash crew that played basically at least once a week. It has been probably over a year since the last time the 5 of us were together playing Smash. Okay, so for people who haven't had a Smashfest with us, and for us to remember good times, I have a list of videos here that show general things that happen at usually every Smashfest. Angelo is the one recording all the videos, and some parts of the videos have subtitles. The subtitles are so you know who is talking and understand them in case they aren't talking loud. I don't make subtitles for Angelo because you should know when he's talking and you should be able to hear him clearly, since he is taking the videos. Yeah so remember, these videos are just standard normal things that commonly happen at our Smashfests: Richard gets mad at Angelo Angelo tries to tell a story but gets interrupted and Adam almost dies The most difficult challenge of all, trying to order pizza We make fun of Marth We try catching a fly We talk about Asian people The why game Adam tells a story And watch this one because Angelo wants you to Some Matches: All matches are 5 stock and on Final Destination Day 1: Jeremy had just started playing Smash again like 2 weeks before, and he switched to a new character, Fox, after always having played as Shiek. Then he told me online that he wanted to play Smash, so I went home to play him in some Smash. Or something like that. Scott (Jigglypuff) vs Jeremy (Fox) - Scott wins Scott (Jigglypuff) vs Jose (Luigi) - Jose wins Richard (Game and Watch) vs Jeremy (Fox) - Jeremy wins Richard (DK) vs Jose (Luigi) - Jose wins Angelo (Falco) vs Jeremy (Fox) - Jeremy wins Angelo (Falco) vs Jeremy (Fox) - Jeremy wins Richard (DK) vs Jose (Link) - Richard wins Adam (Fox) vs Richard (Game and Watch) - Adam wins Richard (Game and Watch) vs Jose (Luigi) - Jose wins Richard (DK) vs Jose (Ganondorf) - Jose wins at 102% Richard (DK) vs Jeremy (Fox) - Jeremy wins Richard (DK) vs Jeremy (Fox) - Jeremy wins FFAs: Jose (Marth) vs Scott (Dr. Mario) vs Richard (Game and Watch) vs Jeremy (Fox) - Jeremy wins Day 2: Scott (Dr. Mario) vs Jose (Marth) - Jose wins To get rid of Richard's idea that Marth wins every time no matter what because of his forward smash... Scott (Peach) vs Richard (Marth) - Scott wins Richard (DK) vs Jeremy (Fox) - Richard wins, hilarious final kill Richard (DK) vs Jeremy (Fox) - Jeremy wins Scott (Dr. Mario) vs Jeremy (Fox) - Scott wins Scott (Falco) vs Jeremy (Fox) - Scott wins Scott (Marth) vs Jeremy (Fox) - Scott wins Jeremy (Fox) vs Richard (Random fool characters) - Jeremy wins Jeremy (Fox) vs Richard (Marth) - Richard wins at 144% by edge hanging Scott (Roy) vs Jose (Luigi) - Jose wins Scott (Dr. Mario) vs Jose (Luigi) - Jose wins Scott (Falco) vs Jose (Fox) - Scott wins Scott (Peach) vs Jose (Falco) - Scott wins Scott (Roy) vs Jose (Marth) - Jose wins Scott (Dr. Mario) vs Jose (Mario) - Scott wins I just can't beat Jose's Luigi, it doesn't make sense. He will always beat me as Luigi. It's like, I can be better than everyone else in the world, but I'll fight Jose, and he will still beat me. Jose, you're the best. Because they are obsessed with Ice Climbers... Richard (Ice Climbers) vs Jose (Marth) - Richard wins Richard (Ice Climbers) vs Jeremy (Fox) - Richard wins Richard (Ice Climbers) vs Jose (Link) - Jose wins Richard (Ice Climbers) vs Jeremy (Fox) - Jeremy wins I don't understand it either. Jose (Marth) vs Richard (Marth) - Jose wins 2v2 Teams: Scott (Roy) and Richard (Jigglypuff) vs Jose (Luigi) and Jeremy (Fox) - It ends up with Richard and Jose both stealing a life from their ally, and then those 2 are the only ones left fighting each other with 1 life each. Richard makes the last kill for the closest team game ever, so of course, it wasn't recorded. |
