| Much like her element, Saldonna, goddess of the seas, possesses both beauty and tranquility. However, when something threatens her or her seas she can be a deadly adversary. All tremble before the power of the sea. This duality leads much of the populace to both revere and fear the "Tranquil Tempest". Having been mentored by Tenaria, she picked up many of the high goddess' attitudes and beliefs, learning to value patience and wisdom. This patience and wisdom are put to the test because of her relationship with Pyron, god of fire. He is both her true love and loyal to the dark god Kuladar. Her most notable gift to the world is the power of the mind: Psionics. Psionics is the ability to mentally manipulate the world around you and influence and communicate directly with the minds of others. It is a rare and powerful talent that one can only be born with. It is said that an agent of the "Goddess of the Mind" is present at the birth of every psionicist. A legend says that Saldonna herself was present at the birth of Zepherra Gebbinmont posing as a midwife. |
