Notes:
Established as son of Peter Baugh Jr as follows: Peter Baugh Jr's 1788 will recorded in Chesterfield County VA lists son, Peter, as heir. Peter Baugh (III) and wife Mary Ann were married in that county in 1781, and appear in 1783 census. The will of his father-in-law, James Elam, was recorded in 1796 in same county and listed Peter, Mary Ann, and their oldest son, Robert.

OBITUARY
Georgia Journal, Milledgeville, 10 June 1817:
   
[communicated.]
   Departed this life on Monday the 2nd inst. Peter Baugh, a native of Virginia, but for two years past a citizen of Greene county, in the sixty-second year of his age.  He has left a disconsolate wife and respectable family to lament the loss of an affectionate parent.  (page 3 col. 4)
