Notes:
Undoubtedly the daughter of John Copelan and Nancy Dossey for several reasons. She was married in Greene County, GA, and in 1850 lived in the same district as her brother John, and her sister Susan, who lived next to John. She fits within the age of Nancy's children still with her in 1820, and is missing from Nancy's household in 1830, after her marriage in 1822. She also has a son named Elias after her grandfather Elias Dossey, and her family moved to Attala Co., MS by 1860, just as her sister Susan's family did.
Husband Hardy listed in the 1830 Federal Census, Greene, GA; census lists one male under five, one male age 5-10, one male age 30-40, one male age 40-50, one female under 5, one female 5-10, one female 15-20, one female 30-40, and five male and one female slaves.
Hardy listed as a farmer in the 1850 Federal Census, District 140, Greene, GA; the slave schedule lists eight male and six female slaves.
Listed in the 1860 Federal Census, Township 16 Range 8, Attala, MS with only her daughters Nancy (Owens) and Louiza.
Not listed after 1860.
