C-CONN

Born and raised on South Side by way of Forest Hill, TX. Corey “C-Conn” Connally is no lightweight in any game. Be it grass, turf, or the streets, he is Da Don of everything he touches, especially the vocal booth. Regardless of the facility it’s attached to and its history. Started out in full stride, headed for the NFL with major success from pee-wee league to the NCAA league, a sudden change struck that resulted in a serious knee injury while playing as a starting offensive back for WAC’s TCU Horned Frogs. Where do I go from here? The streets? From experience, pumping crack was not a sport to C-Conn, and paper or plastic was definitely a foreign language to him. Being blessed with gift(s) to choose from, he is now busting the gaps of slab cd decks and sticking to the G-Code. While everyone else is still coming down, C-Conn Da Don is murdering tracks with a southern vernacular that keeps listeners in awe. At the same time, scratching their heads while comparing his style to the likes of Legends like Rap-A-Lot‘s UGK Bun-B, and Z-Ro. Though both are well respected, he is holding his own and is in no way shape or form attempting to sound like anyone. The only resemblance of either is that there are no preservatives in their trillness. Truthfully, there are not many artists that can be compared to Bun-B or Z-Ro. So that speaks for itself. Meanwhile, others are trying to figure out his style and complicate his shine. He is constantly dropping hit lines that sticks in listener’s head like a brain freeze.

EB

If the question is, “does a Ghetto Super-Star still exist?” The answer is “EB BallerBurns” the Paper Chaser. Born Eddie Burns Jr., a name ringing bells from that dirty South of that Funk as far out North of H-Town. If its money involved you can’t count this Hustla in twice. Baller Burns paid his dues to the block and definitely earned his street credit. Being a trendsetter, it was no surprise for him to take a guaranteed angle at getting his bread. Now, Co-CEO of Paper Chase Records along side his brother CMB, ready to put his street cred to use. With laid back distinct lyrics and punch lines giving unintentional courses on how a “Real Balla” stunt from the streets to the booth. With knowledge and a great ear for street music, it’s evident where he and his lil bro are headed with PCR. In the words of Jeezy, “Look up in the sky tell me what yousee… See da clouds, nah pimpin not “E”. I’m an opportunist I see opportunity.” EB “Baller Burns” is an opportunist to tha core. Believe that…

DH

A true spitter said it best, “They say nothing comes to sleepers but dreams and I believe that…” After overpaying dues, you will no longer find this Paper Chaser in the trap or in the streets. You won’t find him anywhere but in your local studio booths. Southside born Drenell “Young Tician” Harrison, raised by way of both hoods Southside and Forest Hill, was birthed with a talent in several music genres from a background in music from 6th grade up to Prairie View A & M’s Marching Storm. With an arsenal of knockout punch lines and picture perfect lyrics, Young Tician is definitely a problem for any one who opposes. Inspired by nothing but the haters, he’s no lightweight when it comes to distributing bars. You pick a topic, he’s got the hook and the bars. Not at all limited to his talent in the booth, he’s definitely a force to be reckoned with when it comes to the business side of things as well. With a swagger that makes haters even sicker with the site of this cat, Young Tician still remains humble but ready for whatever and lives by the creed of setting and not following trends. From his appearance to the way he spit is “Playamade,”  Young Tician gon’ always hold it down for everything in and around the 817.

CMB

It’s no secret to this element of this mixture. Born Cory M. Burns, now known in the streets of Funky Town, TX as “Cory Million Billionaire,” CEO of Paper Chase Records. From pre-school to college campuses, being the main attraction is second nature to his flamboyance. Growing up in tha “817” was no slumber party. Mastering the art of being ambitious and sustaining a brick wall chin for the streets and any other business, the knowledge of how to hustle both sides of the block is an advantage to CMB. With a mind racing faster than words can speak, who can outsmart him? Forming Paper Chase Records was no surprise to his acquaintances. With a military mind there is no room to follow suit unless CMB is leading. Though he possesses a strong talent in the business field, he can hold his own when it comes to choppin’ up sixteens. Don’t get it twisted, a business minded hustler with ambition, is the true definition of a GO Getta. “Cory Million Billionaire.”
