| First, let me say I am NOT a programmer or 'puter geek. Just wanted a place to tell you about our dogs and my family. My husband, Wayne, grew up in Chicago in the same neighborhood as Rudy Robinson. In about 1960, Wayne's family obtained a black dog with 1 tipped ear. That was Dusty and Wayne'e introduction to the Belgian Sheepdog. I also grew up in Chicago, but, as the daughter of a mailman, never had a dog till I was in high school. My best friends family owned, showed and bred Borzoi and I did show them in Junior Showmanship and breed. I then obtained Tina, a non-registered GSD who I trained in obedience. When Wayne and I got married, I wanted an Afghan, he wanted a belgian.... Our first dog was Ch. BlackJade O'Deertrail, CD. HE won. Since 1971, we have owned Belgian Sheepdogs. 1976 marked our first Malinois and in 1997 I added a Laekenois, Merlyn. |
