To remeber those GRE words you need to get any small voice recording device like your old walkman.If you don't have it surely you can borrow it from some of your relative, cousin or friend just for a time being.
Once you get this small voice recording device what you do is start recording the words, which you have learnt from word power made easy.Now you can listen to these words while traveling, playing, bathing in short it gives you the flexiblity to revise those words anywhere on this earth.
The best way is to start recording simultaneously as you move through the chapters of word power made easy,this will give you considerable amount of revision as you listen to the recorded words iteratively.
Also remeber that you have to record only words and not their meanings as you are going to recollect the meaning as you hear the word.
One more thing to remember is donot forget to add a pause of 3 to 4 seconds between two consecutive words else you'll end up running desperately behind words gaining nothing. In short you should go slow while recording those words, so that you can uderstand them better.
How long does it take?
Always ask this question till you give your GRE, for time has a special meaning in GRE which is explained latter on this site.Well if you pour your self for GRE it should take you about 1 to 1 and 1/2 month to master this book, else people complete at their own pace
What about the rest?
As you know GRE wordlist consists of about 4000 to 4500 words from them about 1000 are high frequency words and word power completes about 3/4 of GRE high frequency wordlist.
