USES OF SAFFRON

Saffron has almost infinite uses but some of them are, It is used in coffees, tea, in making medicines as it is good for cholesterol level as mentioned above, it is also used in recipes, making sweets of different kinds, also used in Guthka, pan massala etc.

SAFFRON HARVEST

Saffron is harvested in the months of October and November in Kashmir. The number of Flowers given by user plant is three, but sometimes a corm gives four flowers the harvest mainly depends upon corm, which is responsible for the numbers of flowers produced.

DEMAND OF SAFFRON

As for my life history with saffron is concerned, I know that saffron demand depends upon the quality of saffron and its color strength. As kashmiri saffron has great demand because of its quality, fragrance, and flavor.
