Death:Rebirth

The Neon Genesis Evangelion movies have been out in Japan for a significant amount of time. However, it hasn't been translated to English as of yet. There are 2 movies. The first one, Death:Rebirth, is basically the whole series wrapped into 60 minutes. This doesn't mean that you should miss this movie! Some of the scenes have been completely redrawn and new ones have been added. This added an extra 12 minutes to the movie, making it 72 minutes instead of 60.

End Of Evangelion

The End of Evangelion is the second movie. It continues after where the series leaves off. All the Angels known have been destroyed and Shinji and Asuka are suffering mental breakdowns. In the midst of this, Seele attacks NERV with the new Eva Units 5-13. These Eva's are equipped with S-2 Engines and copies of the Lance of Longinus. Howevr, due to an incident in the movie, Shinji and Asuka both recover and pilot the Eva's against their Seele counterparts.
