In this here shop,you'll find a mass collection....well...i wouldnt call it a mass collection but you'd find a nice brew of Greyhound bus photos from Jackson,Mississippi Greyhound bus terminal downtown on State street. Up stairs is Amtrak....and no i cant go upstairs without a ticket...saftey reasons and such.Well,here they are.....enjoy! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| This one is an Eldorado National. It's 30 feet long,96 inches wide and is powered by a Cummins C5.9E with an Allison AT545. These buses look to be 2001 models and are the most common transit bus in the JaTran fleet. Photo | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Here's two Greyhound MC12s resting in the fuel'em up lanes. These are the workhorses of Greyhound and were first built in 1992. No 2712 and 2350 are shot in the mid day heat of Mississippi during the noon rush of buses thru Jackson.They are both DDEC III 6V92TA powered with an Allison HT-746D transmission.Here's a shot from the street Photo a rear shot threw the bushes Photo and from the platform Photo | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| no 6215,a 1998 MCI 102DL3,is snapped here in the fuel'em up lane.These were the first 45 foot long buses to enter the "Dawg" service. These buses are seen everywhere. They are powered by a 425hp Detroit Diesel DDEC IV Series 60E connected to an Allison B500R ATEC of 6 gears. They even have jake brakes! They can carry up to 55 passengers and have a range of 1,200 miles using a 235 gallon fuel tank. Photo | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Ever heard of Delta Bus Lines? I know i havent and i was totally caught off gaurd and suprised when this bus pulled in. It looks to be a 1997 102D3,a baby version of the DL3,powered by a Detroit Series 60 of 11.1 liters. It produces 350hp and has the same B500R transmission as the DL3s.
