[CPR Instructor]

Other Information: If you are older than 16 years old, you are eligible to train to be a CPR instructor. The class will be taught over the course of a weekend, from about 6:00 - 10:00 pm on Friday and then all day Saturday and Sunday. Once trained, you will co-teach with an experienced instructor for your first few classes, and then you will be allowed to teach by yourself.

[Van Wash]

Other Information: The Red Cross has just gotten a new handicap van. However it is too big for it to fit into a regular car wash, so they need between four to six people a week to wash it. [Nursing Home]

Other Information: This project is still in the idea stage. It has been suggested that club members write letters to the residents of nursing homes or take some time to visit them. Please see Mrs. Wash if you are interested.

[Renovation]

Other Information: Prior to the TAKS test, club members will visit local elementary schools to help students study for the TAKS test.

[Elementary School Programs]

Other Information: Volunteers will be pulled out of school to assist in programs for the elementary schools such as the "Scrubby Bears" or "Wally Wise" programs. The volunteers will be asked to do such things as wear the turtle outfit for the "Wally Wise" program, among other things.

[Deck the Halls Community Project]

[Ellington Field Military Event]

Other Information: The American Red Cross Southeast Branch is hosting their 7th Annual Christmas Parade. There will be a Red Cross float competition, we can march, or ride in cars. There will also be a battle of the bands and many more activities.
