[1.24.08]: Hey guys! We have lots of new service opportunities for this semester! Volunteers are needed this Saturday, January 26 at 8:00 am for the Special Olympics Table Tennis Tournament held at Alamo Elementary. The Van Wash Project is also still going on! Sign up to wash the Baytown Red Cross vans at the Red Cross Office Thursdays after school. The sign-up poster is in Mrs. Wash's room, or you can email Mrs. Wash or Ms. Gagneux with a group of three or four and the Thursday which you would like to work. All supplies will be provided. This is an ongoing service project that counts towards the thirty required service hours. On Saturday March 8, from 10 am to 3 pm, volunteers are needed to help run carnival games at a Carnival at Victoria Walker Elementary School. Sign ups are at our next meeting. You do not have to work the entire time. Longfellow's Whale Tales and Scrubby Bears (programs similar to the Wally Wise program) will provide volunteer opportunities after Spring Break. Our next meeting will be February 14 at 7:00 am in Mrs. Wash's room. Don't forget!

[10.01.07]: Our next meeting will be November 8, 2007. We will discuss club t-shirts, Red Cross Disaster training that all members are required to complete, and the upcoming Christmas tree project. All members that are new this year must attend the training at the Baytown Red Cross office (in the United Way Building) this Monday, November 5 at 6pm. If you need directions or for more information, go to Mrs. Wash's room, 119. As always, we are still accepting new members, so bring your friends to the next meeting!
