| The basic statistics for each character are, as follows: HP: HP stands for 'Hit points' im sure almost any RPer knows by now what a Hit Point is, it is your character's life force, when Hit Points run out, your character has fainted. LP: LP stands for Life Points, most characters will have fairly low life points, as life points only come into play once the character has fainted. Life points deminish for each round the character is in while he is still 'fainted', if the character is not revived before his Life Points run out, the character dies, and it is nearly impossible to revive, unless by some higher level character. LVL: LVL, stands for what Level your character has become, the set maximum level your charcter can reach is 50, but each level you go up, you obtain 2 points you can contribute to your stats, which will be explained later on. STR: This stands for 'Strength' which is how physically strong your character is. Strength allows you to be able to do more damage to your opponents in hand to hand combat, and also lets you use heavier weapons such as two handed axe's and bows that require more strength to use properly. EXP: EXP, is of course, Experience, this is something that does not need to be seen by your opponent when in combat, unlike the previous stats. Experience comes when you've killed an opponent, or when your character has been around the realm for a long period of time, you get Experience from both of these occurances, yet the experience you gain through combat is quicker then the gradual experience you gain through jsut being around for along period of time. (More info on EXP here.) AGL: AGL, stands for Agility, this is how nimble or quick your character is in and out of combat. Agility can play an important roll in combat, as to who gets the first attack in combat, and as to how effectively it will hit a person verses how fast your opponent is. For example, if your opponent was a lot faster then you are, the chances of him dodging your attack are greater , and if he were to attack you, then the chances of you being hit are greater DFN: DFN stands for Defence, this is how much damage will be removed from an attack when it hits your character. Defense can be a very good asset to have, but remember to balance your armour with a good weapon. MP stands for Mana Points. Mana points are how much Mana your character has to use to cast spells, certain spells take up more Mana then others. Once this is deminished, your character can no longer cast spells for a certain period of time until his or her Mana points are regenerated, either by an Item, or by rest and relaxation (More on Mana and Spells here.) |
